Thank you for being here.
I see you. I hear you. You matter. I care.
My own struggles with childhood trauma, codependency, attachment issues, sexual abuse, depression, suicidal ideation, chronic pain and vagus nerve dysregulation led me on a healing journey. A journey I never expected.
I love music and the people who make it. Throughout my life I've used music as a form of expression. In the darkness, I've always reached for music. I am not a musician, I am a music crusader. I spent the better part of my 30's and 40's in the music industry, I produced and promoted shows, managed bands, booked venues, and handled publicist duties. I did a little bit of everything. I loved it. But bands break up and venues close. I was jaded and frustrated.
Then a few traumatic events sent me into a depressive episode coupled with chronic pain. I saw doctors. I took medications. I even had surgery. Nothing helped. So, I did what we do now, and I combed the internet for help, always with music in mind. I stumbled upon the work of Dr. Stephen Porges, founder of the Polyvagal Theory. This is when my journey truly began. I became a trauma-trained Certified Trauma Recovery Coach and Safe and Sound Protocol facilitator. It's become my passion to introduce music modalities into my sessions.
The same week I received my certification, a close friend committed suicide. I was devastated and unexpectedly facing years and years of grief and loss. I started the Grief Recovery Handbook and immediately decided to become a grief recovery specialist using the Grief Recovery Method.
Together, we will walk your journey, creating tools for daily life and coming to peace with your past. If you would be interested in exploring the effect your trauma has had on you, and how to heal from it, I would love to talk with you.
I offer embodied coaching sessions with a focus on Complex Traumas (CPTSD), grief and loss using music as a healing modality.
I offer 4 late night sessions a week!!
Musicians and LGBTQ ask about Oscine Scholarship programs.
